About the Authors

Timothy Leary- (born 1920, died 1996) An American psychologist and author who was one of leading advocated for the use of LSD and other psychoactive drugs. Became a lecturer at Harvard University in 1959 where he began to experiment with hallucinogenic substances. He concluded that psychedelics could be effective in transforming personality and expanding consciousness.

Ralph Metzner- (born 1936-present) an American psychologist, write, and researcher. He is Professor Emeritus of psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. For over 50 years he has been involved in research in psychedelics, yoga, meditation and shamanism.

Richard Albert later named Ram Dass- (born 1931-present) is a spiritual teacher and author. He is the founder of Seva Foundation and Hanuman Foundation.
