Description

A collection of 24 colored plates produced by a mid-20th Century illustrator/printer Edward Vairel after the fashion plates originally designed by painter/engraver Philibert-Louis Debucourt of late 18th century -early 19th century France for the publisher La Mésangère, who also published one of the earliest women's Fashion Journals, the Journal des dames et des modes.
