leaf silhouettes

The last section of this book is 115 leaf silhouettes. This section is slightly different from the rest because it is the only section that does not have the full text traslated into English. the only part that is translated into English are the names of the leaves. 

Assuming the text are facts about each leaf and where it orignates from it is not for sure because it is only in Japanese. The first section of the book gave reasons to use each type of wood so one can assume the author would also list uses for the leaves. Whether the use be for healing and consumption or possible other things one wouldn't think of. 

the leaf images are small and cropped along the boared so the text not being tranlated into English it could be talking about any leaf shown or all of them as a whole.
